Christmas Concerto
I played the Corelli Christmas Concerto as a clarinet trio for the Winter gala. It was the first song I played with this trio, and it was the smallest group I have performed with. The balance between instruments was pretty good. There wasn’t really anyone leading the song, so we weren’t as together as we could have been. The only time someone was leading was counting off and cutting off at the end. |

Anchors Aweigh
I played Anchors Aweigh for a piano recital. I stayed on the same tempo through the whole song and the runs were in time. At the beginning I could have made the notes more staccato. I did a good job bringing out the melody if it was in my right or left hand. |

Oblivion
I played the Astor Piazzolla song Oblivion as a clarinet quartet for the Fine Arts Festival, March 16, 2018. When we first started practicing this piece, it sounded really boring and flat. We tried playing it with passion, and it sounded so cool! I tried to move with the music, but I definitely could have done that bigger. |

Rose Etude #3 and #1
9/13/2017 I played these two Rose Etudes for the Taste of Skyline event. It was my first solo performance on clarinet. I had just gotten a new wood clarinet a few days before this performance. I was really nervous because I was still getting used to the instrument. The pieces flowed smoothly for the most part, and my articulation improved a lot. I didn't do very much dynamics or phrasing. |

Light Cavalry Overture
10/7/2018 This was my first giant solo with the full orchestra, and it was really nerve-wracking. I was very happy with how I sounded in the concert. It is hard to play with feeling when you are really nervous, but I thought my solo came off well. The solo passage is at 3:43 - 4:17 in the video. |

Bagatelle
3/15/2019 We have performed this piece twice at Skyline music performances; this was the second time. This is really fun to play because we all play together, and there are many parts that make this a really interesting piece. This performance went well and everybody played their lines well. |
2019 - 2020
I played Carl Maria von Weber's Concertino for Clarinet with the Longmont Youth Symphony. I have always wanted to play a clarinet solo with an orchestra, and I am so glad I had the opportunity. This performance was the only time we played the piece on the stage, so the acoustics were throwing me off. I thought the orchestra was really far behind, and that's why I was dragging the tempo in the beginning. I was really proud of my performance, and even though I had a few mistakes, overall I did a really good job. I wasn't even that nervous onstage! I feel like this performance is the highlight of all my performances in high school.
